Vasilis Kamitsis possesses extensive experience in maritime management, currently serving as the Regional Technical Manager for Region II - Europe, Middle East, Black Sea, and Africa at International Registries, Inc. since March 2009, while also holding the title of Safety & Technical Manager. Prior to this role, Vasilis worked as a Technical Manager and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) at Oscar Shipmanagement from 2006 to 2009, and as Technical Support/Engineer and ISM/ISPS auditor at Goodfaith Shipping between 2003 and 2006. Vasilis' career began at Cyprus Maritime from 2000 to 2003 as Superintendent/Engineer. Vasilis holds a BSc and MSc in Mechanical and Marine Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
