Brooke Sauro currently serves as the Data and Evaluation Manager at the International Refugee Assistance Project since July 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing data management, training staff, and supporting impact measurement. Previously, Brooke held roles such as Data and Evaluation Analyst and Intake and Legal Information Coordinator, contributing to the development of data systems and innovative technology solutions for refugee support. In a recent position as a Software Engineer at Swell, Brooke focused on developing cross-platform applications and enhancing code reliability through testing. Early career experience includes research work with Physicians for Human Rights, automating data collection related to medical facility attacks in the Syrian war. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and completed an intensive Arabic program through the CASA Fellowship.
