Nicholas Lakeland is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in various areas of law. Currently serving as a Partner at Laytons ETL since August 2017 and as Director & Chairman of the International Practice Group since May 2022, Nicholas has made significant contributions to legal marketing and leadership. Prior to these roles, Nicholas was an LLP Partner at Silverman Sherliker LLP, leading the Employment & Pensions Law Unit and offering specialist HR solutions, while also being integral to the firm's Italian desk. Nicholas began their legal career as an Associate at The Simkins Partnership, focusing on commercial litigation, and previously completed training at McKenna & Co. Nicholas holds an LLB in Law from The London School of Economics and a Diploma in UK and European Law of Copyright and Related Rights from King's College London.
