Luisana Jaramillo is a psychologist with extensive experience in child protection and case management, currently serving at HIAS since January 2020 in multiple roles, including Case Manager and Assistant for Child Protection. Prior to this, Luisana worked as a professor of General Psychology at Instituto Universitario Eclesiástico Santo Tomás de Aquino and served in various roles at Instituto Tachirense de la Mujer, including Assistant and Intern in Psychology, which involved managing case files and conducting psychological assessments. Additionally, Luisana contributed to a UNICEF program with Fe y Alegría, focusing on educational inclusion and emotional support for vulnerable children. Luisana holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua and a postgraduate degree specializing in Culture of Peace and International Humanitarian Law from Universidad Católica del Táchira, alongside a bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Philosophy.
