Kaveh Mehrabi OLY currently serves as the Director of the Athletes' Department at the International Olympic Committee, a role held since January 2015, following various leadership positions within the organization focusing on athlete relations and engagement. In parallel, Kaveh Mehrabi is the Founder and Chairman of the Kaveh Mehrabi Foundation, which aims to enhance education and sports access for disadvantaged children in Iran. Kaveh Mehrabi has also held significant roles in organizations such as the World Anti-Doping Agency and the Baku 2015 European Games, and acted as Sports Advisor for the Special Olympics. A former professional badminton player, Kaveh Mehrabi competed internationally from 1997 until retirement in 2012, while also serving as the Chairman of the Athletes' Commission for the Badminton World Federation. Kaveh Mehrabi's educational background includes advanced leadership training from IMD and HEC Lausanne, along with a degree from Azad University.
