Jen Guyton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ecology, photography, and science communication. Currently serving as the Director at Naturaland Trust and as a National Geographic Expert and Certified Photo Instructor for National Geographic Society Expeditions and Lindblad Expeditions, respectively, Guyton enriches guest experiences through education and photography. As a freelance storyteller and science communicator, Guyton focuses on the intersection of nature and human culture. Previous roles include Communications Manager at Global Conservation and Science Writer for the Florida Wildlife Corridor, alongside an Associate Fellowship with the International League of Conservation Photographers. Guyton has contributed significantly to wildlife conservation and storytelling through published works and leadership in various projects, including surveys of mammals in Gorongosa National Park. Academic credentials include a PhD and a Master’s Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
