Carlos Andrés Hoyos Muñoz has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Carlos Andrés began their career as a Researcher at the Universidad de los Andes - Colombia in 2012 and continued in the same role at the Centro Nacional de Memoria Histórica in 2013. In 2016, they joined OIM - ONU Migración as a DDR MEL Specialist and later became the Citizen Security Manager. In 2021, they joined the United States Institute of Peace as a Project Officer, and then advanced to the role of Senior Project Officer in 2022. Currently, they serve as the Associate Director for Law Enforcement at the International Justice Mission since 2023.
