Reehana Rifat Raza serves as the Director for the Asia Pacific Region at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since May 2022, managing a portfolio of USD 2.57 billion across 20 country programs and 52 projects. Previously, Raza held the position of Senior Research Associate at the Urban Institute, focusing on fiscal decentralization and minority group inclusion, and worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at The George Washington University, teaching courses on local development and gender. Raza has been associated with prominent organizations such as The World Bank, Overseas Development Institute, and the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives, contributing significantly to economic research and policy development. Raza's academic background includes a PhD and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s degree from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College. Currently, Raza is enhancing expertise through a program at Harvard Online.
