Montserrat Duarte is a seasoned professional in the agri-food industry, currently serving as Gerente de Planta at Red Sun Farms since December 2022 and a board member of the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Mexico since July 2020. Duarte's extensive experience includes a tenure as Gerente General at Plantanova and over 18 years at Agros SA de CV / Agros Produce in various leadership roles, culminating as CEO. Additional experience includes quality control management at Monterey Mushrooms, LLC, and engineering roles at Mabe Querétaro. Montserrat Duarte holds an MBA from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master in Banking and Finance from UPF Barcelona School of Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering and Food Processing from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
