Lauren Selman, CMP, currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at the International Food and Beverage Technology Association, a position held since August 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing education, member services, and chapter events while facilitating networking and opportunities within the industry. Lauren previously held the role of Director of Membership and Events from 2014 to 2022, after initially managing educational content for key foodservice technology conferences. In addition, Lauren is the Managing Director of EventEd, dedicated to connecting industry operators and suppliers through technology education. Previous experience includes roles such as Festival Forum Producer at the American Film Institute, Public Relations Associate at Arlington + Co. PR, and various internships focused on public relations and communications. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Theatre from Penn State University.
