Irnov Irnov is a Senior Scientist II at IFF, with a career spanning over a decade in microbiology and biochemistry research. Previously, Irnov served as an HHMI Research Specialist III at Stanford University, where investigations focused on the bacterial cell wall turnover in Borrelia burgdorferi, development of a diagnostic tool for Lyme disease, and management of scientific collaborations. Prior roles include Senior Research Scientist at NYU Langone Health, contributing to genetics and proteomics studies of Staphylococcus aureus, and Associate Research Scientist at Yale University, demonstrating metabolic connections in cell wall biosynthesis. Irnov's academic journey includes a PhD in Biochemistry from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University.
