Michael Roberts possesses extensive experience in innovative project management and water resources engineering, currently serving as the Innovation Fund Director at iDE since August 2000. In this role, Michael is accountable for developing impactful initiatives across multiple countries within the organization. Previous positions include Country Director for Cambodia, where core programs delivering substantial benefits earned nine international awards, and Executive Director in Canada, establishing operations and overseeing projects across several countries. Additionally, Michael is actively involved with Hydrologic Social Enterprise as Chairman of the Board, successfully transitioning a donor-funded project into a commercial success. With a strong educational foundation in Civil and Agricultural Engineering from the University of Calgary and Cornell University, Michael combines technical expertise with a commitment to sustainable development.
