Nicole Sadek is a journalist currently working with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an Investigative Data Journalist at Bloomberg Law, where significant investigations revealed issues related to name, image, likeness (NIL) policies, the racial diversity of federal district court judges, and trends in death penalty appeals. Nicole was previously a Roy Howard Fellow at ICIJ, where investigative work on Uber's influence led to significant inquiries in Europe. Other notable roles include a community news internship at The Arizona Republic, investigative work at Georgia Public Broadcasting, and serving as Editor-in-Chief of The Emory Wheel, where leadership included editorial management and significant website enhancements. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Investigative Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and a Bachelor's degree from Emory University, supplemented by a study abroad experience at SOAS, University of London.
