Eva Veldhuizen-Ochodničanová

Instructor Human Trafficking & Child Sexual Abuse at International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children

Eva Veldhuizen-Ochodničanová is an experienced Child Protection Specialist currently working with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since June 2024. Eva also serves as an Instructor for Human Trafficking and Child Sexual Abuse at the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children and as an Honourary Fellow at the University of Hull's Wilberforce Institute. Additional roles include consulting on child protection, safety, and security for the Council of International Schools and previously acting as an expert on child sexual abuse and exploitation for the OSCE. Eva has held various positions related to child protection and violence against women, including a technical advisor role at Missing Children Europe and expertise through a consultant position with UNODC. Eva's academic background includes a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from Maastricht University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Politics from University College Utrecht.
