Francesca Restifo is a seasoned human rights lawyer with extensive experience in international advocacy and legal consultation. Currently serving as the Senior Human Rights Lawyer and UN Representative for the International Bar Association since January 2021, Francesca has previously held significant roles at UNHCR as Advisor on the Global Compact on Refugees and Senior Regional Consultant, focusing on refugee protection in the Americas and Latin America. Francesca has also contributed as the International Advocacy Director for Franciscans International, a Human Rights Officer at OMCT, and a Legal Advisor to the European Parliament. Francesca's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in law and economics from esteemed institutions such as KULeuven, University of Oxford, and Sapienza Università di Roma.
