Jim Campbell has a strong background in privacy and data protection, with most of their experience focused on supporting organizations in these areas. From 2014 to the present, they have been a Region Manager for the IAPP, supporting operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the APAC region. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Corporate Services Consultant for the IAPP, providing guidance on privacy and data security to companies and helping them leverage their expertise to gain new clients.

Jim also has experience as an Email Marketing Manager at Tripadvisor.com from 2004 to 2005 and as VP of Marketing at TargitInteractive from 1999 to 2004.
Jim Campbell began their education by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Advertising at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1988 to 1989. In addition to their academic accomplishments, they obtained a certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
