Shante' Cozier has worked in various roles within the museum industry. Shante' currently serves as the Exhibitions & Installation Project Manager at the International African American Museum, starting in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Exhibitions Coordinator at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture from February 2017 to April 2022. Shante' also held the position of Director of Operations at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art from January 2009 to September 2014.

Shante' Cozier pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Visual Arts at SUNY New Paltz from 2005 to 2008. Shante' later went on to earn their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from The City College of New York between 2012 and 2016.
