Valerie Phelps has extensive experience in the field of physical therapy, currently serving as the Practice Director at Advanced Physical Therapy in Anchorage since July 2000. Phelps has also been a Physical Therapist with IAOM-US since December 1988 and owned ProActive Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine from 1996 to 2000. Phelps earned a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University between 2002 and 2011 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota, which was completed from 1979 to 1981. Phelps attended the College of Saint Benedict from 1976 to 1979.
