Col Dinesh Kumar Vats (Retd) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, geotechnical engineering, and design within the civil engineering sector. Currently serving as a Senior Subject Matter Expert at Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd. since October 2021, Col Vats also holds the position of Director of Project Management at AECOM. Previously, leadership roles included Vice President at Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats, and Chief Geotechnical Engineer for the Meinhardt Turner Miechel Greeves consortium. Col Vats has contributed to notable projects such as the Statue of Unity and various airport developments, leveraging qualifications including an MTech in Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a BTech in Civil Engineering from NIT Calicut.
