Samet Ö. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Samet is currently working at Intercom as a Senior Product Engineer, starting in 2022. Previously, they were a Co-Founder and CTO at Persona Media Tech. from 2017 to 2021, where they led the development of personalized live video streaming and advertising platforms on AWS cloud. Samet also worked as a Software Engineering Lead at EngageNXT from 2018 to 2020, and as a Senior Software Developer at Oredata from 2014 to 2016. Samet began their career as a Junior Consultant at NTT DATA in 2013 and later worked as a Software Development Specialist at Vodafone Turkey from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they have interned at IBM and BOSSA, and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Koç University.

Samet Ö. completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from Koç University, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. During their time at Koç University, they also pursued studies in Information Technology at the University of Stuttgart from 2010 to 2011. Prior to attending Koç University, they attended Adana Fen Lisesi from 2003 to 2006, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
