Sam Wood is an accomplished graphic design professional with extensive experience in various roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Graphic Design at Nécessaire, Inc. since March 2021, Sam also co-founded and contributes as a designer at Both since September 2013. Previous roles include Freelance Senior Brand Designer at SISTER, Freelance Art Director at Actual Source, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Typography at Yale University. Sam’s design expertise was further honed as a designer at the Yale University Art Gallery, a Senior Designer at Actual Source, and an Interactive Designer at Vivint. Sam began a career in design at BYU Publications & Graphics and completed an internship at Case NYC. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Yale University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Scandinavian Studies from Brigham Young University.
