Matthew Coco has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on drug pricing, market access, and payer marketing. Matthew is currently working as the Executive Director of Drug Pricing & Contracting at Intercept Pharmaceuticals since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Director of Payer Marketing & Pricing Operations at Intra-Cellular Therapies from 2020 to 2022.
From 2018 to 2020, Matthew served as the Director of Market Access and Pricing at Progenics Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for US Market Access, Pricing, and Patient Services. Matthew also has experience as a Management Consultant at Cyan Health, LLC from 2016 to 2018 and as the Head of Market Access Marketing at Orexo AB publ in 2015.
Matthew's career in the pharmaceutical industry began at Eli Lilly and Company in 2007, where they held various positions including Strategist for Value-Based Arrangements, Product Brand Manager, Senior Business Development Associate, and Sales Representative. Additionally, they gained marketing experience as a Marketing Intern at Simon Property Group in 2006.
Matthew Coco has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Marshall University. Matthew also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
