Caroline Fajolle has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Caroline began their career as a Sales Assistant at Warburg Dillon Read, LLC in 1998. Caroline then moved on to Lehman Brothers in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Client Services Associate until 2001.

In 2001, Caroline Fajolle interned as a European Advertising Manager at Fairchild Publication SARL. Caroline then transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, joining Sanofi in 2002. At Sanofi, they held various roles in human resources, starting as a Human Resources Associate and eventually progressing to roles such as Human Resources Business Partner and Director of Global Compensation. Their tenure at Sanofi ended in 2019 when they became Director of Human Resources Business Partner for Consumer Health Care and US Market Access.

In 2019, Caroline Fajolle joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Human Resources for Enabling Functions & Medical. Caroline was later promoted to Senior Director of Human Resources for U.S. Commercial and Medical Affairs in February 2021.

Caroline Fajolle received their Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and French from Lafayette College. Caroline attended Lafayette College from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts degree in French Studies from Middlebury College, studying there from 2001 to 2002.
