Wendy Trattner is a seasoned mechanical engineer with a robust background in sustainability and innovative design. Currently serving as a Fellow at Interact since January 2020, Wendy has contributed to various companies, including as a Mechanical Engineer at unspun™ focused on zero waste circular fashion and as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Lunar Energy, where high volume mechanical parts were designed from concept to production. Prior experience includes roles at Gradient, where performance components for eco-friendly heat pumps were developed, and Embark Trucks, where contributions to autonomous truck hardware were made. Wendy also founded Nibble to help restaurants reduce food waste and served as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT CSAIL, engaging in projects related to soft robotics. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wendy’s career reflects a commitment to addressing environmental challenges through engineering solutions.
