Stephen A. Monks possesses over 30 years of extensive experience in law enforcement and security, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Vangtage Bank since January 2023. Previously, Stephen held the position of Vice President and Director of Security and Fraud at Vantage Bank Texas since December 2018 and Vice President in the Security and Fraud Department at Inter National Bank since January 2018. Prior to these roles, Stephen retired in August 2016 as an 1811 Special Agent with the DHS/HSI, where notable accomplishments included leading complex investigations and serving as a primary liaison for intelligence distribution. Additional roles included senior positions at the DHS/HSI and the US Customs Service, focusing on intelligence collection and multi-agency coordination against transnational criminal organizations. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College.
