Not only is Nolie an English Ph.D. candidate at UW, but she’s also a tenured teacher and advocates for educational equity. With a flair for writing and all things adjacent, Nolie is inspired by people who fight for justice, model humbleness, and have the willingness to learn hard things. In her role at iF, Nolie uses her skills to ensure that educational opportunities are available to first-generation, Black, Indigenous, and Latinx students, and students experiencing poverty.
