Marius Mans has extensive work experience in the software development field. Marius began their career at Advanced Knowledge Systems as an Analyst Programmer from 1992 to 1994. Marius then joined Advanced Knowledge Systems again in 1994 as a Business Analyst until 1995. Following that, Marius worked at Brightpoint as a Senior Analyst Programmer from 1996 to 1997, where they analyzed and coded a pre-paid point of sale application. Marius then moved to Nedbank in 1996 as a Quality Assurance Officer, where they implemented source control and bug tracking for a real-estate application. In 1996, Marius also started working at MTN, first as a Senior Analyst Programmer, then as a Development Team Leader. During their time at MTN, they led a team of developers in creating an e-commerce solution. In 2005, Marius joined JSE as a Senior Programmer, where they worked on moving JSE mainframe onto the Windows platform. Marius also worked at Accenture as a Senior .Net Developer from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, Marius began working at the National Prosecuting Authority as an Applications Programmer, where they worked on various projects including the customization of SharePoint and InfoPath applications. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at BCX as a Principal .Net Developer and later as a Development Lead and Scrum Master. Finally, in 2020, Marius joined Intenda as a Senior Developer.

Marius Mans received a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.Org in 2017. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, they attended Technicon of the Free State and obtained a Natoinal Diploma in Electronic Engineering.
