Simbarashe Chikuni has a diverse work history, with experience in finance and education. In 2014, Chikuni interned at the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP). From 2018 to 2019, Chikuni worked as an Invigilator at the University of Cape Town. In 2019, Chikuni joined Intelligent Debt Management, starting as a Financial Assessor before progressing to the role of Financial Consultant. Currently, Chikuni holds the position of Senior Financial Consultant at the same company.

Simbarashe Chikuni pursued higher education at the University of Cape Town. From 2013 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Management Studies, with a focus on Economics and Finance. Following this, from 2017 to 2019, Simbarashe Chikuni pursued further specialization in Investments and Finance, completing a BCom Honours degree in Financial Analysis & Portfolio Management.
