Paul R. is an experienced Patent Attorney currently contracting for the Office of General Counsel for the Department of Homeland Security at Intelligence Federal since November 2022, focusing on securing patent protection in areas such as security, identification, and verification. Previously, Paul R. provided legal counseling in patent, trademark, copyright, and contracting services at Protect it! IP from May 2013 to November 2022. Prior roles include positions at Foley and Lardner and Hogan Lovells as a Patent Attorney, and as a Patent Agent at Dann Dorfman Herrell & Skillman and Checkpoint Systems. Paul R. holds a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property from Rutgers Law School and has a strong academic background in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
