Raj Dasari has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Raj is currently working as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at Wave Life Sciences from July 2020 to July 2022.

From 2016 to 2020, Raj worked at WAVE Life Sciences Ltd., where they held the positions of Associate Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Principal Engineer of Manufacturing Engineering.

Raj began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Louisville from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they designed and executed experiments, developed an innovative method to measure bulk viscosity, and optimized process parameters for biomass saccharification.

In 2004, Raj completed an internship at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, where they tested the feasibility of using polyelectrolyte complexes for the separation of IPA/Water mixtures.

Raj Dasari earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University in the years 2000-2004. Raj then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville from 2004-2008. Additionally, in April 2015, they obtained the OSHA Hazmat First Responder Operations certification from the Association of Bay Area Governments.
