Thiago Guimarães has a diverse work experience that includes roles in tech leadership, fullstack development, data science, product ownership, and frontend development. Thiago joined Intelie in 2017 and worked as a Fullstack Developer until August 2019. Thiago then transitioned to the role of Tech Lead, where they utilized their skills as a Fullstack Developer and Data Scientist. Prior to Intelie, Thiago worked at CEPEL from 2015 to 2016, taking on the responsibilities of a Product Owner and Frontend Developer. In 2016, they achieved recognition as the winner of the ISE Business Case Competition, demonstrating their expertise in solving business case studies.

Thiago Guimarães completed their Smart Systems Master Degree in Data Science from UERJ between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UERJ from 2010 to 2016. In 2010-2011, they also completed a Technical degree in Mechanics from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca. Additionally, in 2009-2010, they attended Colégio e curso Ponto de Ensino, although the specific field of study is unknown.

Thiago also obtained several certifications, including "R Programming" from Johns Hopkins University, "Mastering Data Analysis in Excel" from Duke University, "A Crash Course in Data Science" from Johns Hopkins University, "Building a Data Science Team," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox," all obtained from Coursera Course Certificates between 2016 and 2017.
