Willie Franklin has gained extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Willie started their career as a Lead Student IT Technician at Front Range Community College in 2018, where they coordinated and supervised a team responsible for supporting PC and telecommunications operations campus-wide. During this time, they also provided technical support to faculty and students, resolving computer and mobile device-related issues.

In 2020, Willie joined American Furniture Warehouse as an IT Support Engineer I, where they provided technical assistance to employees. Later that year, they returned to Front Range Community College as a Senior Support Analyst. In this role, they collaborated with ITS and college departments to develop technical roadmaps and provided daily operational support for college-specific technologies.

In 2022, Willie joined Norris Design as an IT Tech Support, where they performed various support tasks, including analyzing, documenting, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting PC hardware, software applications, and communication devices for the entire organization. Willie also provided help desk support, managed IT assets, and handled administration tasks for Active Directory, Microsoft O365, AutoCAD, and Windows Server.

Most recently, in 2022, Willie joined Integris as a System Administrator, where they are responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's system infrastructure.

Willie Franklin attended Front Range Community College from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems. During their time at the college, they also earned a certification in Networking basics in May 2020. In March 2021, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert.
