Ken Makimsy Middleton has extensive work experience in the field of recruitment and talent acquisition. Ken Makimsy has held various roles in different companies, starting with TEKsystems in 2006. At TEKsystems, they worked as a Recruiter, building and maintaining relationships with potential consultants and matching them with suitable job opportunities. Ken Makimsy eventually became a Senior Account Manager and Recruiter Lead, developing personal and business relationships with hiring managers in the telecommunications industry.
In 2017, Ken joined TEEMA Group as a Senior Associate and Client/Talent Manager, where they worked on both sides of the recruitment desk, identifying new clients and recruiting talent for direct placement and contract staffing. Ken Makimsy also established an internal support group to facilitate knowledge sharing among TEEMA members.
Ken returned to TEKsystems in 2019 as a Market Lead for the Communications, Media, and Entertainment (CME) vertical in the Atlanta market. In this role, they were responsible for growing the portfolio through acquiring new clients and expanding the market. Ken Makimsy also served as a Senior Account Manager, partnering with clients in the healthcare and telecommunications industries on IT and business initiatives.
In 2022, Ken joined Meta as a Technical Recruiting Manager for Production Engineering. Ken Makimsy led a team of sourcers, providing guidance on sourcing strategies and improving overall productivity. Ken Makimsy also facilitated communication and collaboration within the Meta infrastructure organization.
Next, Ken worked at Chubb as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition for Technology. Their responsibilities included attracting and retaining top digital talent, implementing new KPIs for recruiters, coaching and developing team members, and streamlining vendor relationships for cost savings.
Currently, Ken is the Senior Director of IT Solution Services at Integris Group. Their role involves partnering with organizations to optimize IT environments through strategic solutions related to people, process, and technology.
Throughout their career, Ken has demonstrated leadership, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills in the field of talent acquisition.
Ken Makimsy Middleton earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Strategic Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the years 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke between 1998 and 2002. In addition to their formal education, Ken has obtained certifications including AppDynamics Sales Black Belt and Thousand Eyes Sales Black Belt from Cisco, as well as DevOps Essentials from Linux Academy. Ken Makimsy also completed an online course titled Intro to DevOps from Alison - Free Online Learning.
