Wahid Palash, PhD, is a Water Resources Engineer currently employed at Integrated Sustainability since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia, where accomplishments included assessing climate change impacts on hydrology in Canadian mining regions using CMIP5 and CMIP6 datasets. Wahid worked as a Research Scientist at Tufts University, investigating the teleconnection between ENSO and hydrometeorology globally. A doctoral researcher at Tufts, Wahid developed a flood forecasting model for 51 watersheds, culminating in a PhD dissertation on flood forecasting methodologies. Previous consultancy roles spanned several countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia, focusing on hydrologic modeling and water resources management. Wahid’s educational background includes a PhD in Hydrology from Tufts University, an MSc in Water Resources Engineering from KU Leuven, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
