Jim Briggs

Jim Briggs has a strong background in mechanical engineering, primarily focused on the design and development of consumer and industrial-grade Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. Jim has over 20 years of experience in this field, starting from 2000 at Schneider Electric, where they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they drove the electro-mechanical design life-cycle of UPS systems, utilizing sheet metal, plastic, and extruded components. Jim also demonstrated strong skills in Design for Manufacturing/Assembly, using software such as Creo and SolidWorks. Prior to their time at Schneider Electric, Jim worked as a Project Engineer at Torrington Research from 1997 to 2000. Currently, in 2022, they are working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Resonetics. Additionally, they are also set to join INTEGRA Biosciences in 2023 as a Senior R&D Engineer.

Jim Briggs attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
