Carol Loring has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and microbiology. Carol started their career in 1985 as a Histology Lab Supervisor at the New Hampshire Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, where they worked until 2002. In 2003, they joined the State of New Hampshire as a Public Health Microbiologist, holding the position until 2020. Most recently, they became a Molecular Biology Business Developer at INTEGRA Biosciences in October 2020.

Carol Loring obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011.
