Brenda Code, LPN, BSME, MBA, PMP has accumulated a wealth of work experience since 1986. Brenda began their career as an Engineer at Baltimore Gas & Electric, where they wrote technical specifications for equipment and utility vehicles, completed testing on HVAC systems, determined optimum income of new projects, and managed the department's first Total Quality Management program and led the department's first Performance Improvement Team. In 1989, they transitioned to the role of Operations Consultant at MedStar Health, and then to Predictive Maintenance Engineer in 1991.

In 1994, Brenda Code moved to The Hospital for Sick Children DC, where they served as Quality Manager. Brenda then moved to Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in 2000, where they served as Director of Quality Patient Safety. In this role, they directed accreditation activities, improved performance across the organization, and worked collaboratively with the Medical Director and Chief Nurse Officer to design and implement a new Patient Safety Council.

In 2006, Brenda Code began working at Johns Hopkins Hospital as Director of Quality. Here, they increased the caliber of patient care by spearheading comprehensive quality initiatives, created inclusive project plans, developed reports for the executive team related to quality initiatives, maintained the quality scorecard, and facilitated the Quality Steering Committee.

In 2008, Brenda Code began working at Maryland Physicians Care as Project Manager, and at Aetna as Project Manager. At Maryland Physicians Care, they successfully transitioned the organization's outsourced annual Medical Record Review process to an "in-house" operation. At Aetna, they successfully lead four consecutive Medical Record Review projects which resulted in the organization receiving over five million dollars in incentive monies from Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

In 2013, Brenda Code began working at The Winning Woman Enterprise as Project Manager. Finally, in 2015, they began working at Integra ServiceConnect\u00ae as Senior Project Manager. In this role, they achieved the organization's strategic goals, successfully met the client's expectations, and supported the agile and flexibility of the company by proactively identifying and resolving problems.

Brenda Code, LPN, BSME, MBA, PMP has a comprehensive educational history. In 1977, they obtained a Md Board Nursing (Licensed Practical Nurse) from Carver Vocational Technical H.S. In 1986, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. In 1994, they obtained a Graduate-Level Certificate in Leadership Development from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. In 1997, they earned a Master's degree in Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. In 2001, they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. Finally, in 2013, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Certification from the Project Management Academy - endorsed by PMI. Additionally, they have a certification in Project Management Professional from 11352.
