David Bishop has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. David started their career at Virgin Games in 1989 as a Producer, where they made several successful games including Dune and Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker. David then joined Virgin Interactive Entertainment in 1992 as VP prod dev, overseeing development in the US office and working on titles like Disney's Aladdin and 7th Guest. After that, David worked at Mindscape as Director of European Development, where they produced and designed PC titles in collaboration with Creature Labs. In 2000, they became Channel Manager at PlayJam before joining British Sky Broadcasting as Head of Interactive TV Games in 2001. David then founded Pixie Dust Games in 2008, focusing on creating games that bridge the gap between the real world and the digital playground. In 2009, David joined Popcap as a Senior Game Designer until 2012, when they became the Head of Game Design at Mind Candy, responsible for all game design and talent recruitment. Lastly, they joined MAG Interactive in 2015, initially as a Game Designer and later as the Creative Director.
David Bishop attended Clifton College from 1969 to 1974. David then went on to Aston University, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General, from 1975 to 1980. At Aston University, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
