Reba Clarke-Wedderburn, Ed.D.

Faculty Coach at Instructional Empowerment

Reba Clarke-Wedderburn, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Reba has worked as a Faculty Coach at Instructional Empowerment and as a K-12 Executive Coach at BetterLesson. Reba also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Campus, where they supported college students in online business and general education courses by teaching, mentoring, and coaching. Reba has experience as a Professional Coach at Achanje Coaching & Consulting and as a Professional Learning Specialist at Amplify, with a focus on CKLA. Prior to that, Reba served as a Senior Manager in ELA at TNTP. Reba also held multiple roles at LEAD Public Schools, including Middle School Principal, RTI Coordinator/Instructional Coach, and 7th Grade Social Studies Teacher. In addition, Reba worked as a Google for Education Certified Trainer at Google, a Policy Fellow at The Urban Leaders Fellowship, and an AART at Metro Nashville Public Schools.

Reba Clarke-Wedderburn, Ed.D. completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change at Lipscomb University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Union University in 2017-2018. Reba also holds a Bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University, completed between 2000 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Reba has obtained several certifications. Reba received the Education: Professional Educator Certificate from the Tennessee Department of Education in July 2018, along with the Beginning Administrator License PreK-12 from the same institution. Furthermore, they acquired the Education: Professional Educator Certificate from the Florida Department of Education in July 2005. Reba also holds a certification in Speaking Confidently and Effectively from LinkedIn, obtained in May 2023. Lastly, they are a Google Certified Trainer, although the exact timeframe of earning this certification is not provided.
