Penny Sell's work experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Instructional Leadership Solutions at Instructional Empowerment since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Learning Sciences International from November 2020 to August 2022. Before their role at Learning Sciences International, they worked as a Staff Developer and School Leadership Coach from April 2011 to November 2020. Penny started their career as an Educational Consultant from July 2001 to April 2011. Penny also has experience as a School and District Administrator at Orange County Public Schools from July 1990 to June 2000 and as a Teacher from January 1983 to July 1990.

Penny Sell obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from Central Michigan University from 1977 to 1981. Penny then pursued a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Central Florida from 1987 to 1989.
