Thiago Mares Guia is an accomplished executive and researcher with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Scientific & Business Executive Director at Bionovis since September 2012, Thiago plays a pivotal role in business development, alliance management, and product portfolio definition. Alongside this role, Thiago is the Founder of CellProtect Biotechnology and leads a research group at the Cell and Molecular Therapy Center at the University of São Paulo. Previous positions include Medical and Scientific Manager at Bionovis, Research, Development and Innovation Manager at Hypera, and professor at various institutions. Thiago holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Immunology and a Medical degree from Federal University of Minas Gerais, complemented by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cell Therapy and Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo.
