Eliana Barros is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving as the Epidemiologist Manager at Instituto Butantan, where responsibilities include developing and implementing epidemiological projects for the vaccine portfolio. Previously, Eliana held roles such as Epidemiologist at IPTSP/UFG, focusing on health professional training in Angola, and worked at GSK as an Epidemiologist Manager. Other roles include Field Epidemiologist at Malaria Consortium, Nurse Epidemiologist at the Secretaria de Saúde do Distrito Federal, and Epidemiologist at the Ministry of Health Brazil, with additional involvement in the World Health Organization's STOP Polio Program. Eliana holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology and Public Health from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from the same institution.
