MD Monirul Alam Rijon is a GIS Data Quality Manager at the Institute of Water Modelling, responsible for supervising GIS operators and conducting quality assurance on digital maps and databases to ensure precision and accuracy. Currently a founding member of the Geoinformatics and Earth Observation Research Center (GEORC) and owner of The Burger Palace, Rijon has previously worked as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Development Design Consultants Ltd. and as a GIS Operator at Geomark Limited. Rijon holds an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Geography and Environment from Jagannath University, Dhaka.
