Iain C. Bruce is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in neuroscience and biomedical writing. Since August 2011, Iain has served as Executive Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Neuroscience Bulletin at the Institute of Neuroscience (ION), Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai. Iain is also a Guest Professor at Peking University, conducting online biomedical writing workshops, and has held visiting professor positions at Zhejiang University and Jiangnan University. Previous roles include Professor at Zhejiang University, Associate Professor at The University of Hong Kong, Assistant Professor at The University of Iowa, Research Associate at the University of Toronto, and Postdoc at the University of Calgary. Iain holds a PhD in Biology with a specialization in Neurophysiology from the University of Calgary and a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from the University of Aberdeen.
