Qi Yuan is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Mental Health since January 2016, responsible for initiating and leading research studies and providing statistical support. Previously, Qi Yuan served as a Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore and engaged in qualitative research. As a PhD student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2011 to 2015, Qi Yuan successfully initiated and designed the Happy@Work project, secured government funding, co-founded a mental health promotion course, and conducted various qualitative studies, ultimately presenting findings at international conferences and publishing an academic article. Additional experience includes roles as a tutor, teaching assistant, and exchange guest researcher at Universiteit Utrecht, with earlier research assistance at Zhejiang University focusing on literature reviews and data analysis. Qi Yuan holds a PhD in Public Health from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a minor degree in Management from Wuhan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
