David Forer MW is an established figure in the wine industry, serving as the Owner and Founder of Clos Salanca since June 2018, where six hectares of heritage variety grapes are cultivated on a biodiverse estate outside of Poboleda. Alongside this venture, David Forer is a Council Member at the Institute of Masters of Wine since September 2019, contributing to the strategic governance of the organization. As a Founding Partner of Vinos Forer Massard SL, David focuses on commercializing wines from Priorat and beyond. Additionally, David Forer operates as a Global Wine Consultant, advising private clients and regional organizations on communication and market strategies. Previously, David held partnership roles at 1933 Signature Cocktails and participated as a Director at Alacarte Ventures. Educational achievements include a Master of Wine and a Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, complemented by advanced degrees in Biostatistics and Statistics from Queen's University and the University of Guelph, along with a Diploma in International Business Studies from Copenhagen Business School.
