Ram Kumar is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in engineering education, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management since December 2016. In addition, Ram has held faculty positions at BITS Pilani Goa since December 2008 and at BITS Pilani Goa Campus, contributing significantly to the educational community. Prior to these roles, Ram taught at Bagawanth Institute of Technology from June 2003 to April 2006 in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Ram holds a PhD in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, completed in 2016, along with a Master of Engineering in CAD from Anna University Chennai and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University. Educational foundations were laid at Kamban Karpakam Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Kendriya Vidyalaya, KKDI.
