Zane Bruce is an experienced geologist with a career spanning from 1995 to the present, currently serving as a Geologist and Scientist/Technician at GNS Science since May 2009, focusing on surface wave geophysics. Previous roles include Contract Exploration Geologist at Crossland Uranium Ltd, Contract Geologist at Opus International Consultants, and Exploration Geologist at Flinders Diamonds Ltd, where responsibilities ranged from designing sampling and drilling programs to geotechnical investigations and diamond exploration. Early career experiences include serving as a Technical Officer at the Australian National University and a PhD candidate at the University of Canterbury, where Zane acquired extensive laboratory and fieldwork expertise. Zane holds a PhD in Geology/Earth Science and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Canterbury.
