Annet Forkink is a seasoned professional in environmental and climate planning, currently serving as a Senior Environment and Climate Planner at GNS Science since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Natural Resource Manager in Florida from 2016 to 2020, and as a Lecturer, Researcher, and PhD candidate at Florida State University from 2011 to 2016. Annet also held the position of Environmental Specialist at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection from 2005 to 2010 and was a Research Associate at Wageningen University & Research between 2003 and 2005. Annet Forkink holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, a Master of Science (MS) and Engineer (Ir.) in Environmental Science from Wageningen University & Research, and a Master of Science (MS) in Health Science from the University of Groningen.
