Marga Ortega Izquierdo has extensive experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Responsible for Projects in the Solar Department at IDAE since March 2009, emphasizing solar technologies. Previously, Marga held a similar role in the Planning and Studies Department, focusing on renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives. Marga's expertise was further enhanced through a Visiting Research Fellowship at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in 2014. Prior experience includes leading the Renewable Energy Department at AGENBUR, overseeing various renewable energy projects in Burgos. Marga holds a PhD in Civil and Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Burgos and has degrees in Thermal Engineering and Industrial Engineering, specializing in Mechanics.
